Kenya / Extra Divers Temple Point

The Extra Divers Dive Center is located at Temple Point Resort Watamu. The ideal location on the Mida Creek allows trips into the Watamu Marine National Park regardless of the tide and high tide. The dive sites of the Marine National Park offer beginners and advanced users the best conditions for great diving experiences. A transfer to the dive center from other hotels in Watamu can of course be organized.

Diving/Dive spots

The dive sites are all located in the Marine National Park. The reef is very versatile: large overhangs, slight depressions, canals and intact coral gardens shelter many animal species. From a small nudibranch to the gigantic whale shark you can meet everything here. 16 dive sites with depths of 5 to 45 meters are mostly reachable in 30-45 minutes by boat. A water temperature between 24-28° and the ability to drift, wreck and night dives makes Watamu the most popular diving destination in Kenya.

Team & Education

The dive center is managed by Matthias and his team.
SSI and PADI standards are taught in German and English from Open Water to common specialties.
