The apartments in La Restinga are primarily located in the first line of the harbor with sea views and in the immediate vicinity of the diving center. The view over the harbor and the sea makes the evening on the balcony a special event!
The transfer from the airport takes approximately 45 minutes and the accommodations are within walking distance of restaurants, bars and a supermarket. There is a small bathing beach in the harbour.
The well-equipped apartments have one or two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom and are completely furnished; the kitchens are outfitted with all the necessary equipment. Cooking your own meals is a possibility, as supermarkets are within a few minutes walking distance. In addition, TV and WLAN are available. Towel and bedlinen exchange is also performed.
Besides excellent dive sites, El Hierro offers many opportunities for another type of sport: hiking.
The island is known for its great hiking trails, not just diving. Over lava rock, under pine trees, along the high-altitude trails there are many things to discover; after all, the highest point is 1,500 meters above sea level!
There is a lot to see, particularly on the west coast; a rental car is advisable. In just one day, the entire island can be navigated by car. The Mirador de la Pena, built by the legendary Spanish architect Cesar Manrique, offers an incredible view of the west coast; at Punta Grande, you will find the smallest hotel in the world.
Self catering. Breakfast can be arranged by the dive center. There are several local restaurants and bars in town.
El Hierro is known in the Canary Islands for its tropical pineapple, goat cheese and quesadillas. Freshly caught fish can be bought directly in the port, fresh local fruit and vegetables at the weekly market.
There are two supermarkets in La Restinga; in El Pinar (10 km) there is an organic butcher.

In addition to diving, El Hierro is known for its well-signposted hiking trails.
There is a lot to discover through lava rock, under pine crowns, through the "Zaberwald" and along the mountain trails. After all, the highest elevation is 1503m above sea level! A rental car to explore the island is recommended. The island is easy to navigate.
