Dive Safari Deep South - St. Johns
A mix of the best the Red Sea has to offer!
A wonderful tour for divers who love variety: colorful coral gardens with shoals of fish, breathtaking cliffs, reefs with creeks, some wrecks and, not to forget, the spectacular night dives. The varied reefs of St. John's group are located far to the south, behind Port Berenice and belong to the largest reef plateau north of Port Sudan. The spectacular underwater life here, worth the long journey anyway. The reef walls burst with life: Huge fan and soft corals, caves and overhangs are just as much as the occurring in the northern Red Sea Humpbacked Parrotfish with up to 1.80 meters in length! Up to eight different shark species such as fox shark, schools of hammerhead sharks, tiger sharks and even white tips shark (Longimanus) are regularly spotted here. Beautifully covered reef roofs with lots of "little things" provide a change to the spectacular "blue water dives"! Upon arrival in Hurghada or Marsa Alam, transfer to the ship in Marsa Ghaleb, dinner and departure the next morning.
Brother Islands & Elphinstone
Eventful dives in the Haiparadies!
The Brothers Tour is perfect for all safari lovers who can not get enough of sharks, wrecks and cliffs. About 60km east of the coastal city of El Quseir lie these two islands, which are among the "Top 10" dive sites in the world. The "big brother" impresses with its steep walls and two wrecks - the Numidia and the Aida, both bribe with a beautiful coral growth and their stationary living Fuchshaien. The "little brother" is equal to him in fish wealth in no way. It impresses with its colorful hard and soft corals on many overhangs. Even big fish, such as fox sharks, gray sharks, hammerhead sharks or white tip deep-sea sharks make for exciting adventures on both "brothers". Both islands are surrounded by a precipitous fringing reef, only at 60-80m to a small plateau, then falling to several hundred meters. After the Brothers we continue to Elphinstone Reef, which scores with frequent encounters with white tip sharks, which sometimes pull their tracks under the boats. On the plateaus in the north you can often find hammerhead sharks. Upon arrival in Hurghada or Marsa Alam, transfer to the ship in Marsa Ghalib, dinner and departure the next morning.
Marine Park North
The best of the best in a tour!
This challenging liveaboard will take you to the Brother Islands, Daedalus, the Elphinstone Reef and some of the coastal dive sites around Port Ghalib. Shaab Abu Dabab. Big Brother delights with spectacular drop-offs, huge gorgonian fans, soft corals and an incredible wealth of fish. Wreck fans will find the "Aida" and "Numidia" unique diving experiences. For "connoisseurs" is despite all the superlatives Little Brother the even better place: mighty overhangs, fields of soft and hard corals, turtles, Thunas and mackerel swarms are part of the diving life. Big fish such as fox sharks, hammerhead sharks, capital "gray", white and black tip sharks gather here early in the morning and at dusk with countless other fish species of the high seas. The dropping down to 500 meters steep walls around the Daedalus Island, about five hours to the south of the Brother Islands, offer great drift dives and good opportunities for the legendary Hammerhead Schools. That like a camel hump from the depth projecting Elphinstone Reef with its beautifully overgrown reef roofs, sheer walls and sharks faithful to the location, is always nice to dive. Depending on the route, the interesting dive sites around Abu Dabab offer a well-groomed completion of this probably best route in the Red Sea. Upon arrival in Hurghada or Marsa Alam, transfer to the ship in Marsa Ghalib, dinner, departure the next morning.
The snorkeling and diving paradise of the Red Sea has intact reefs, colorful corals and a diverse fish diversity. Turtles, dolphins and countless colorful fish frolic in the blue waters around countless reefs. The snorkeling safari leads through the southern Red Sea, including "Abu Dabab", the home of the Dugong and turtles, on to the "Shaab Sataya" (or Dolphinhouse called) and the "Wadi Gimal", on the longer tours come more Reefs.
A highlight of the tour are certainly the spinner dolphins that are common in this area, which will provide in small or larger groups to beautiful experiences with these fascinating animals. When snorkeling with the dolphins, we work closely with the "Dolphin Alliance" together to not disturb these great animals in their natural daily routine. With miles of coastline, fine sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, Egypt is a snorkeling and diving paradise.
Abu Dabab is famous for its occurrence of dugong and its turtles. The shallow reefs invite you to swim, snorkel and discover. Without time pressure, we stay here until we head for our next destination, the reef "Shaab Sataya" or alternative reefs (depending on weather and dolphin sightings).
Sataya, also known as the "Dolphinhouse", is best known for its many spinner dolphins, who will surely enjoy some acrobatic deposits. The chance to snorkel with dolphins is possible during the entire tour with a little luck, a detailed instruction for considerate swimming and snorkeling with these fascinating marine mammals get on board directly from our snorkeling guides.
An experience are certainly the beautiful sunsets and sundowns on the sea. In spite of pleasant, comfortable cabins, sleeping on the sundeck under the free starry sky of Egypt is an unforgettable experience and is very popular among our guests.
